Slow Grind
Good morning my Valleyites! The weather is cool and crisp and no one has a bigger boner for that than me. Because I’m feeling peppy - I updated the South Texas Concert and Events Listing for your unbridled pleasure. Well, really it’s for your Rio Grande Valley concert going needs. I’ll be happy to report, though, no one has contracted an STD yet by visiting the listings. Why should they? It gets its check up every six months like anyone else that has a million people go through it.
This morning I found Newman’s Bar and Grill’s Web site through Google and me, being a Web site designer, began to analysis, criticize and eventually mock the new Web site design. I’m only playing around, I only mocked it a little. Either way, visit them and tell them we sent you.
To be honest, I’m glad people are investing in their own Web sites rather than counting on a social networking Web site to get the word out about events, promos, exclusives, etc. It’s good business. Besides, when you look at some business’ myspace page and have a cluster fuck of irrelevant shit, man that pisses me off.

MCALLEN, TX - First off, you guys are one of the best metal bands the Valley has to offer and I love Morbid Visions of Reality (song). The original ‘The Challenge’ is pretty fucking insane!!
In your opinion, what is the most important aspect of Slow Grind?
Probably the most important aspect Slow Grind has is that before we’re bandmates, we’re friends who respect each others musical tastes and opinions. Because of that reason, we all have a say-so when we’re writing material so there is a little bit of each of us in each piece. This keeps us all musically and creatively satisfied and just makes the overall experience much more enjoyable which I think reflects on the live performance very noticeably. In the end, everyone wins including our fans. Read more.
