A couple of the cats from Broken Poetz sustained injury after a show at the Monster Carwash.  The following was issued in a Myspace Bulletin:

Two of the Broken Poetz members got involved in near fatal accident after a show last night at Monster Carwash in Edinburg, TX. Frankie Rez (lead guitar) and bassist Jared Gomez were hit by some drunk drivers then flipping over the the truck they were in barely escaping with their lives. But all is well they are on the mend. So the moral to this story is live life to the fullest cause you never know when it’s gonna be your time..

Drinking and driving is not cool people.  Give your body at least an hour per beer to metabolize the shit running through your system.
