I’ve been taking pics on my T-Mobile Blackberry and have been having some fun with it. Now I usually don’t post this late in the day, but what the hell?
Now this image is non other than J3S of Magazine X. No, this is not the way he usually dresses, but if it was would you still talk shit? I wouldn’t but then again, I usually don’t shower for a week, but still I wouldn’t.
To be honest, it was taken before a Halloween Party. There.
Either way, let’s see what kind of nonsense I’ll run into and share with you via this new toy of mine.
Go ahead, copy me. I copied David of SouthOfSanity.net cause he was rocking this shit before I was and I just got tired of pumping my fists at the screen every time I visited his Web site, so I just said, the hell with it.

Recently, I took the time to redesign this Web site so it would go back to what it used to be, updates at front where everything can be read at one time. For a while I simply had an excerpt and for a time, that was OK. I was never really happy with that — mainly because few knew to click into the excerpt to keep reading, or they didn’t take a few fucking seconds to notice that the article kept going. But who cares?
A few updates for my two readers. I got a new gallery for pics that will be uploaded from time to time; “Asides” posts which include the previous entry for quick links to World Wide Web stuff and RGV Local quickies; and, registration has been enabled so you too can have your very own Web site on Tenet Community. I’m still thinking about the adult links, give me your thoughts. Cheers!

My boyfriend is out of town
Man, today is a jacked day - for no reason really. Actually, there is a reason. For the past several days, I’ve been redesigning this Web site to kick even more ass and provide a ton more information at your finger tips. Not that my 2 readers will really give a shit, but things will work out - I promise.

Dreams and Goals

Well, a couple of weeks ago, I was bold enough to get a hold of Google to ask them to include Tenet Community as a news source on their news.google.com pages. I asked myself, why not include an entertainment source in their news archive of the Rio Grande Valley? After all, they feature the Monitor, so I figure, how hard can it be? Read more.
Web site updates and upgrades

I don’t like posting daily Web site updates, it’s annoying. So, I’ve waited until I aggregated enough updates so it can be a worthy and beefy update.
Registration
Registration has been enabled for every e-mail domain. The reason is because not everyone has a yahoo.com or hotmail.com address.
Themes
New themes are added from time to time. If you’d like us to upload a custom theme from around the Web, please e-mail me (webmaster [at] tenetcommunity.com) with the attachment or link to the theme zip file. Custom themes are available as a premium service.
Plug-ins
New plug-ins enable you truly express yourself with your blogs, and more to come! Because of the nature of WordPress and the development from various independent coding geniuses, we’ll be adding and removing plug-ins according to user feedback.
Custom CSS
We have some very simple themes that can be modified using custom CSS. Try it out!
Ah, Good to be home

As I remove the bubble-wrap from this CMS, I find it rather interesting how now I have to get used to a new platform when updating my precious readers. Either way it’s worth it for enumerable reasons. I don’t care if this site is doomed to fail!
Number one — Tenet Community has decided to start using WordPress. Eh, I enjoyed the other CMS because of its ease of use and fast client and server side features, which this one is pretty server heavy, but I’ll work that out eventually.
Number two — Blogging is it. You get your own blog (so long as you have a tenetcommunity.com email address or southtexascollege.edu address). I’ll set up the automated process of signing up once I’m a bit happier on things around here.
Number three — There’s extensive research, plugins and themes available for WordPress, which is the platform we’ll be using from now on.
If you have signed up with the /mag or blog. Web site, yes, you will need to create a new account here, but this is it. The last platform for another 5 years or so; depends if another CMS comes out of the wood works that’s better than WP.
Thanks for your patience, loyalty, and return visits! There’s going to be a lot more uploaded.
(And yes, I did make this WordPress Theme from scratch - that’s what I do.)
Day 2: Moving forward
on Tuesday, April 1st, 2008This site is still under construction and will launch on our main pages within the week. I’m excited, but a good excited…not that freaky excited.
Well, I have some good news and some bad news
on Monday, March 31st, 2008This Web site will be moved to the main pages of Tenet Community. The good news is, this Web site will be focused on a very constant level. The bad news is, the attitude will follow.
This should be interesting.
